Rockin' Rocky Road
Who didn't love rocky road growing up? If you are one of the very few that did not, then keep scrolling.
This nostalgic recipe is so good but here at Wonky we make it better, through the power of broken chocolate.
Create this delicious treat with the whole family to enjoy together, satisfy that sweet tooth!
- 400g digestive biscuits
- 500g Wonky broken chocolate (milk, dark, or a mix)
- 200g mini marshmallows
- 200g Hazelnuts
- Line a square baking tin (roughly 8x8 inch) with parchment paper.
- Break the digestive biscuits into small bite-sized chunks. Aim for irregular pieces, but not crumbs.
- In a large heatproof bowl, melt the Wonky broken chocolate using a double boiler (place the bowl over a pan of simmering water) or melt in the microwave in short 30-second bursts, stirring in between until smooth.
- In a large bowl, combine the digestive biscuit pieces, hazelnuts and mini marshmallows.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the biscuit, hazelnut and marshmallow mixture. Stir well until everything is evenly coated with chocolate.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking tin and press it down gently to spread it evenly.
- Place the tin in the fridge for at least 2 hours or until the mixture is fully set.
- Once set, remove from the fridge and cut into squares or bars.
- Enjoy your delicious, simple rocky road!
