Pecan Pie
Bronze
-
Ever seen a pie on a windowsill in real life? It happens a lot in cartoons, but our neighbours have never been good enough to put it into practice. If you made a coffee from this delicious pod and left it on the windowsill it would get nicked within an hour, guaranteed. With the nutty, buttery taste of sweet pecan combined with the spicy tang of cinnamon, it’s a bit like eating a piece of pecan pie in every sip. And we know you want a slice.

You know that hazelnutty chocolatey spread that tastes great on toast and pancakes? We won’t name itt just in case one of their lawyers is a big fan and happens to be reading this, but what we will say is that this pod, with notes of delicious roasted hazelnuts, is a distant cousin. It also happens to pair perfectly with toast and pancakes, especially in the morning. As well as crepes at a German market. Funny that.

Parlez vous en Francais?
We personally parlez vous all the time, but we’ll stick to English as we know not everyone is as cultured as oui are. ‘Caramel’ is actually a French word, and we can confirm (from going to Paris on the Eurostar once) that they really know their caramel. This little pod is a bit like stepping into a boulangerie and taking a deep breath of the sweet, rich, buttery notes that hit you straight in the face. Oui really hope you like it.

A coffee pod never seemed so good (SO GOOD. SO GOOD).
While you try and get that song out of your head for the rest of the day, we’ll be sipping our fresh cup of sweet coffee made from this rich, indulgent caramel-ly pod. Enjoy it at home, at work, or in a crowd of 90,000 people watching an England game. At least the coffee will definitely be a winner.

The Last Scoop
-
Sitting patiently in the freezer
As the weeks turn into months
The leftover Vanilla ice-cream
In the forgotten Neopolitan tub.
The strawberry and the chocolate
Got snapped up within a day
But when it came to the vanilla bit
Everyone stayed away.
They don’t know what they’re missing
We think they’re pretty odd
Because vanilla is delicate, rich and warming
Especially in this little coffee pod.

We don’t want a lot for springtime
But there is just one thing we need
Please don’t say the big C word
Until at least after Halloween.
Your coffee pod might taste of nutmeg
And be delicately spiced
Just please don’t call it Christmassy
Don’t make us tell you twice.

Vanilla Sensation
Honey Gold

Vanilla don’t give a damn about its reputation.
If you think vanilla’s boring, that’s a violation.
Cause vanilla and coffee is the perfect combination.
That’s not open to interpretation.
Giving it a try is an obligation.
So you can experience the taste sensation.
That’s not even an exaggeration.
If you still call it boring it will sue for defamation.

You know that hazy weather between spring and summer? The balmy evenings, the golden sunsets, the smell of fresh cut grass while you’re dragging the sun lounger onto the lawn for the first time? We are personally pretty excited to slather ourselves in suncream and become firm fixtures of the local pub garden, which is why we’re such big fans of this rich hazelnut pod. A tasty morning treat, especially if your head is feeling a little hazy from the night before.

Choco Caramel Swirl

When you get handed a big box of chocolates, which one are you going for first? Strawberry cream? You’ve never grown up. Truffle? Your favourite cheese is brie. The one with the nut in the middle? You like to stick to what you know. If you’re choosing the one filled with caramel then you have great taste because chocolate and caramel is the perfect combination. That’s exactly why this little pod is so delicious. And if you’re picking the toffee penny, you should probably be jailed immediately.

The chemistry that went into making the perfect blend of hazelnuts in this little pod is almost as electric as the chemistry between Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts when he spills that cup of orange juice all over her. Rich, nutty and as cosy as a travel bookshop on Portobello Road, this pod is a real superstar. But, then again…it’s also just a pod. Sitting in front of a coffee machine. Asking the machine to brew it.
