Marvellous Mocha
Looking for a cosy drink that’s both rich and energising? This mocha recipe combines bold rescued coffee, and smooth, melted Wonky broken chocolate for the ultimate treat. Whether you need a morning boost or an afternoon pick-me-up, this mocha is sure to satisfy those coffee and chocolate cravings in one delicious cup.
- 1-2 shots of Wonky rescued espresso
- About 1 cup milk (any type of milk)
- 1/4 cup, Wonky Broken Chocolate, brake into small pieces
- Toppings (Optional): Whipped cream, cocoa powder
- Make a shot (or two) of strong espresso using your Wonky beans (we chose a dark roast) and set it aside.
- Pour your milk of choice into a milk frother and heat it until warm and frothy.
- Break some Wonky broken chocolate into small pieces for easy melting.
- Place a small bowl onto a pot with simmering water, melt the broken chocolate pieces over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate into a large mug, then slowly add the brewed espresso. Stir to combine.
- Pour the warmed, frothy milk from the frothier into the mug, mixing gently with the chocolate-espresso mixture.
- Top with whipped cream or a sprinkle of cocoa powder for extra indulgence. Enjoy your rich and creamy mocha!
