Craving something cold, chocolatey, and a little bit chaotic? Say hello to the Kinder Iced Chocolate of your dreams. It’s creamy, it’s cool, and it’s loaded with all the nostalgic goodness, finished with a cloud of whipped cream, shaved chocolate (rescued, of course), and a Happy Hippo. It’s giving dessert. It’s giving summer. It’s giving why haven’t I made this yet? One sip and you’ll wonder why you ever bothered with plain iced drinks.
- 30g Wonky Swiss chocolate (the rescued kind)
- 200ml milk of your choice
- A handful of ice
- Whipped cream
- 1 Happy Hippo (optional but highly encouraged)
- Shaved chocolate, for that extra flair
- Optional: a pinch of sea salt or a dash of vanilla
- Chuck your chocolate and milk into a velvitiser and let it work its magic.
- No velvitiser? Melt the chocolate gently, stir in a splash of warm milk, then whisk in the rest until smooth and silky.
- Let it cool a little, then pour over ice.
- Top with a generous swirl of whipped cream, a shower of chocolate shavings, and crown it all with a Happy Hippo.
- Take a pic, then dive in.
