When you brew with a V60, it’s like inviting a little calm into your cup—just you, hot water, and a gentle pour that unlocks every bit of flavor. And here’s the twist: our Wonky beans aren’t dropped from some distant jungle—they’re rescued surplus from top-notch roasters, packaged up (in eco-friendly ways!) and sent your way for a fraction of the usual price. It’s clever, it tastes great, and it means no good coffee ever ends up in the bin. Simple. Thoughtful. Tasty.
- 18g Wonky beans, medium-fine grind
- 300ml hot water, just off the boil
- V60 dripper and filter paper
- A mug you love
- A kettle with a spout
- Place the filter paper in the V60 and rinse it with hot water to get rid of the papery taste and warm your mug.
- Add your ground Wonky beans to the filter.
- Pour about 50ml of water over the grounds and let it bloom for 30 seconds.
- Continue pouring the rest of the water slowly in gentle circles until you reach 300ml.
- Let it drip through, then give the brewer a little swirl.
- Enjoy a bright, clean cup of coffee made with rescued surplus beans.
