Help Us Grow Wonky Coffee

Wonky is a fast-growing brand on a mission to fight food waste. We rescue high-quality products like premium coffee and chocolate from going to waste, and turn them into something people love.

We’ve saved millions of coffee pods from landfill and built a loyal customer base across multiple countries. Now we’re looking for a smart, self-starting junior to help us grow even faster online.

This role is hands-on, fast-paced and full of opportunity. You’ll work closely with the founders and our small team across key areas like the website, subscription flows, landing pages and creative campaigns.

You don’t need years of experience or a technical degree. You just need to be curious, switched on and ready to learn by doing.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Using tools like Shopify, ChatGPT, Klaviyo, and Recharge to help Wonky grow

  • Creating and testing new landing pages, offers, and site improvements using Shopify and page builders

  • Finding ways to use AI and automation to improve the customer experience

  • Researching what’s working across ecommerce and suggesting smart ways we can grow

  • Spotting opportunities to optimise the site, subscriptions, and emails for each market

  • Bringing fresh ideas to the table — and using tech to help make them happen fast

What We’re Looking For

  • A bias for action — you get stuck in and figure things out

  • An interest in e-commerce, tech, AI or how brands grow

  • A good eye — you know what looks good even if you’re not a designer

  • Comfortable using (or learning) tools like ChatGPT, Recharge, Shopify and page-building tools

  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail

  • Most of all, you’re curious, smart and keen to grow with us - AKA you turn up with the right attitude!

The Task: Your First Few Hours at Wonky

You’ve just joined Wonky. Your first job? Write a brief for our designer to create a landing page that increases conversions for a trial box of coffee pods.

We want to see:

  • What sections you'd include on the page

  • What kind of copy or messaging you'd use

  • Any headlines, social proof, or visual elements you'd suggest

  • Why you think these elements would convert

  • A supporting video talking us through your brief

You can include rough sketches, mockups, or notes. Do whatever helps you communicate the idea.

Record a Loom video (max 4 minutes) walking us through your brief.

  • Talk us through what you wrote

  • Why you chose those elements

  • What you'd want the designer to focus on

  • Any inspiration and references from brands you think do this well 

You don’t need to overthink it or design the page yourself. We’re looking for clear thinking, solid instincts, and a basic grasp of what converts.
